Martin teaches regular students in 3 types
i) at his home in the dedicated teaching
room. Under 18 students must be accompanied
by a parent/guardian.
ii) occasionally at student's homes
if convenient and again in the presence of
iii) at Jack Hunt School Peterborough in
small groups and individual lessons. As
mentioned previously parent/guardians must
be present during individual lessons. LESSONS

ETHOS and LESSON TOPICS
Martin aims to give his pupils all the skills
necessary to become a fully rounded musician.
This means that pupils can choose if they
would like to make a career in music
or want to keep it as a hobby. His pupils
learn to read music (appropriate to the instruments
being learned) and develop the many skills
needed to play in bands, orchestras etc.
Martin can give lessons in;
MUSIC THEORY (ABRSM)
Martin regards exams as a useful, though
not exclusive, teaching tool. His pupils
are successful in their exams and these experiences
help improve general playing, technical and
reading skills as well as boosting self-confidence.
